- Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a Midwesterner from Des Moines, IA now living in Chicago. I’m writing this blog because I’m curious about what the response, if any, will be to the thoughts and emotions of a single, female, middle class worker, on subjects of global, national, and regional news. I'm a physical therapist who makes 80,000/year so although I’m not rich by any means, I’m not struggling either. Why post my wage? Because it's an important economic factor and I want people to know that this is part of what I consider "middle class."
